The CAC is very interested in developing partnerships with community clubs and organizations to help raise funds to expand our services. Operational funding of our Center is made available through government and foundation grants, along with local contributions. We have expanded services to include community education and prevention trainings on a variety of topics, including: sexual abuse prevention, childhood trauma and parent support groups. Our Center has a continual need for a variety of supplies and toys. Additionally, snack donations are provided to the families and children we serve, which are greatly appreciated.
Thank You
On behalf of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) team, staff, and Advisory Board thank you for your monetary donation to our Center and for your continued concern for our community’s abused children.Statistics
In 2020, our Center served 275 children. We know that 1 out of 4 girls and 1 out of 6 boys will be sexually abused by age 18. We also know that 4 children die every day in this country from child abuse and neglect. Clark County has averaged 1 child fatality per year as a result of physical abuse. It Takes a Community
We believe that it takes a community to raise a child. We also believe that the only way we can achieve our agency’s mission “for children and families to live in a safe and nurturing community, free of sexual and physical abuse” is to reach out and involve our entire community in this effort. Thank you for believing and working towards our mission.Developing Partnerships
